WHO WE ARE
A Belgian nonprofit with a Syrian civil-society background.
Ogarit Of Droit (O.D.) is an Association sans but lucratif (ASBL) established in Belgium in 2017. The organization works as a nonprofit civil-society association and has maintained a focus on humanitarian, community, refugee and human-rights concerns.
From 2017 onward, activities have included humanitarian assistance, legal and human-rights work, cooperation with other NGOs, research, advocacy and refugee advocacy in Belgium. Activity levels have varied over time; the organization is now strengthening its capacity and continuing this work.
Ogarit Of Droit is not a commercial organization. Its work is intended to serve people and communities facing humanitarian, social, displacement or rights-related challenges.

From establishment to renewed activity.
Ogarit Of Droit has remained a Belgian nonprofit association since its establishment. Activity levels have been uneven rather than the organization being dissolved.

The Belgian ASBL is formally established with a General Assembly and Administration.

Syrian Road to Justice
Ogarit Of Droit is listed among organizations supporting a documented human-rights justice initiative concerning sexual and gender-based violence.

Continued civil-society work
Humanitarian assistance, legal/human-rights work, NGO cooperation, research, advocacy and refugee advocacy in Belgium have continued at varying levels of activity.
